The Content Organizer is a SharePoint feature that can automatically manage some important library tasks.
This not only saves time, but can help make sure that a document library is managed consistently. The Content Organizer can automatically do the following tasks:. Each time that a document is uploaded, the Content Organizer uses rules that you created to determine where it should move the document. Then, it routes the document to the correct library or folder, which can be located in a different site collection.
Rules can be based on a combination of content types and metadata. By default, this limit is items, and when item number arrives, the Content Organizer automatically creates a new folder and places the document in it. You can specify the number of items Content Organizer allows in a single folder. This makes sure that both the existing document and the duplicate are preserved.
You must have at least Site Owner permissions and the publishing features must be enabled. To activate the Content Organizer feature for a site.
Click Settings and then choose Site settings from the drop down menu. Next to the Content Organizer feature name, click Activate. When the feature is activated, the word Active appears in the Status column. Navigate to the site for which you want to configure the Content Organizer to automatically route documents to specified locations.
This automatically redirects users to the Drop Off Library when they try to upload a document.
In the Sending to Another Site section, select the check box if you want to allow rules to route documents to a different site. In the Folder Partitioning section, select the Create subfolders after a target location has too many items check box to automatically create subfolders after a location has exceeded a specified number of items.
In the Number of items in a single folder box, type the number of documents that can be stored in a folder before a new one is created.

In the Rule Managers section, enter user names that are rules managers in your organization. For more info, see Create Content Organizer rules to route documents.

Moving files with a Document ID. Activate, enable, and configure Document IDs. Activate the Document ID site collection feature. Enable and configure the use of Document IDs in a site collection.
Document IDs help you manage your documents by providing an easy way to track items regardless of their location. For example, if a legal contract gets moved from a document library on one site to a document library on another site, the contract would be easy to locate based on its Document ID. Document IDs can also be assigned to Document Sets. When the Document ID service is first enabled, new documents in the site collection will automatically be assigned new IDs.
A timer job is scheduled to assign IDs to documents already in the site collection. Also, when the service is enabled, a new column is automatically added to the Document and Document Set content types. Before using the Document ID feature in your content management system, you must first enable it for each site collection your documents are located in.
However, when the destination site does not have the Document ID service enabled, the document will no longer have a Document ID. When a copy of a file is made, a new Document ID is created for the copy. For example, a file downloaded from one site and uploaded to another is a copy.
However, when the destination site does not have the Document ID service enabled, the copy will not have a Document ID. To first use Document IDs to track documents or records you must following a two-step process:. Click Site Actions and then click Site Settings. Under Site Collection Administration, click Site collection features. An Active icon appears next to the item and the feature is activated for the current site collection.
When you enable the Document ID feature for any given site collection, all documents in the site collection will be automatically assigned a Document ID.
Keep in mind that, depending on the number of documents that exist in your site collection, this process can take some time.
This means that a timer job is responsible for completing the assignment of the Document IDs to all documents in the site collection.
The time it takes for this process depends on the number of documents in your site collection. To set a custom string of characters or numbers that are automatically appended to the beginning of each Document ID, enter the string under Begin IDs with…. Select the Reset all Document IDs… check box if you want to automatically add the prefix to all existing Document IDs in your site collection.

Just stay tuned for the good news. You may also want to read:.When it comes to the update itself, Xiaomi has made a lot of visual changes this year so that is quite exciting. So, if your device is eligible for MIUI 11 then you must check out what new features it brings to the table. In this article, I have done a deep-dive into MIUI 11 and have compiled a list of all the new features. Apart from that, we have also offered some tips along the way so you can take advantage of the new features in your daily life.
Minimalist Design While there is no doubt that MIUI is packed with tons of features, Xiaomi deserves a fair share of criticism for its inconsistent UI and endless cramming of features without any serious thought given to the user experience.
However, all of my criticism is going to take rest with MIUI From the first look, MIUI 11 looks quite matured and follows its design principles all through the interface. MIUI 11 comes with a new Classical theme that supports squircle icon shape out of the box and I love it.
Xiaomi has also redesigned all its native apps to fit the new icon shape. Finally, the apps look uniform and in sync with the overall UI. Besides that, the animation also feels pretty smooth and consistent across apps and settings. Xiaomi has also brought a new font that does not look too cartoonish.
Not only the content, but the overall UI is scaled dynamically so you can have a better reading experience. Apart from that, the UI has fewer lines and boxes to put the focus back on content. The Settings menu looks a lot cleaner and has new colorful icons to boot. Xiaomi has stated that MIUI 11 has been designed for a full-screen experience and it does feel so. Mi Share Mi Share is the next headline feature of MIUI 11 which is very helpful and is going to make sharing files across smartphones a breeze.
As of now, Xiaomi has partnered with Oppo, realme, and Vivo to facilitate this feature among their smartphones. Xiaomi claims that you can send files locally up to 82MBps and that is simply amazing. We tried sharing files using Mi Share and it worked just like AirDrop.

So please comment! Any other phones you tried? Depends what you mean by your question Once you've formatted an SD card as adoptable storage there's no automated way in Android to migrate all the data back to internal storage, so you tend to lose any app data that was stored on the SD card. Sometimes that means apps will need to be reinstalled after removing the SD card. However, you can always reformat your SD card and use it in another device.
